Recent News (WE ARE OPEN AND ACCEPTING NEW PARTICIPANTS)
Program Update: We are excited to announce that Accord Adult Day Center has REOPENED and is providing adult day health and transportation services to the Communities that we service. It has always been our goal to providing a safe and stimulating environment for participants, staff, and their families. Based on Governor Baker’s latest update, our program is able to provide onsite Adult Day Health services to our participants since August 10, 2020.
Guidance from the Commonwealth of MA, Department of Public Health and Long Term Services and Support allows our program the opportunity to provide both onsite and telehealth support and case management oversight to our participants. Our entire staff are now available to assist our participant with this a onsite and telehealth Adult Day Health initiative.
It has always been our goal to providing a safe and a stimulating environment for participants, staff, and their families. I will reinforce our commitment to providing the safest environment possible during these overwhelming and anxious times. It is also important to acknowledge that COVID-19 related information is constantly changing, and we will closely monitor this information and we will adapt as we receive additional guidance. With this understanding, Accord ADH has put in place reasonable preventative and controlled measures aimed to reducing the spread of COVID-19 among staff and participants while in our program and on our vehicles:
1. Daily Staff/Participant COVID19 Screening;
2. Reduced Onsite and Transportation Restrictions;
3. Restricted Access to visitors and non essential personnel;
4. New upgraded UV Air purification system;
4. Face Coverings/Personal Protective Equipment;
5. Strict Social distancing standards;
6. Controlled and monitored mobility program;
7. Onsite personal item restrictions;
8. Reinforced handwashing/cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting standards
As always, open communication and cooperation with our participants, their families, and our staff is critical to everyone’s safety. We look forward to this dialogue and to continuing our relationship and our partnership through this pandemic and after.
Stay safe and Stay Healthy!!
